New Lenox, IL is going to host the only Chicagoland showing of "The Honor Flight" at its New Lenox AMC Showplace. (Directions)
The movie, "The Honor Flight" was chosen as an Official Selection of the 2012 Naples International Film Festival. The New Lenox screening, which takes place on February 19th, will be part of a larger screening billed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest film screening ever.
The Honor Flight Network is a ... "non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill."
The flights and tours that Honor Flight Network provides World War II and terminally ill veterans are absolutely FREE.
The movie will start on February 19th, at 7:30 pm. It is approximately 83 minutes long. Each ticket costs $10 each. Tickets can be reserved at: www.HonorFlightTheMovie.com, with a credit card.
