Testimony and "Thank You": 'Tis the Season

Testimony and "Thank You":  'Tis the Season

Today, I received two "Thank You" notes ...

One, from a recently-closed client, also contained a testimony regarding the level of service they received throughout their Mortgage process and Closing.  It read ...

"I wanted to take the opportunity to write you and provide a testimonial to the quality of service you provided during my mortgage loan process.  In the past, I have only experienced providing some information and showing up for a closing date; however, you gave me play-by-play details of the entire process to let me know what to expect.

I appreciate the attention to detail and highly value being included in the process.  I look forward to being able to refer you friends and family in the future."

The second note was from a Broker/Agent.  A recent transaction together had been our first together and it had gone extremely well for all involved ... clients and professionals alike.  Their note had been handwritten and it included the Broker/Agent's business card.  It read ...

"Hello Gene:  It was a real pleasure to meet and connect.  I will definitely pass your card on to several Buyers I am working with.  I hope you will think of me too, should you know anyone looking to buy or sell.

Have a great Holiday.  See you soon!"

Both "Thank You" notes represented a good old-fashioned method of showing appreciation, one that is often missing in today's world.  Receiving these sure felt good, I'll admit it.

The note from the Broker/Agent also represented

old-fashioned smart marketing at its best.  It showed this Broker/Agent as a true professional.  I want to give a nod to their kindness and effort.  I know the high caliber of their representation and that we work well together when representing and guiding mutual clients.
