Do You Have a Wish List? Is a New Chicagoland Home on It?

Do You Have a Wish List?
Is a New Chicagoland Home on It?

If I had one wish ...

Remember as a kid how you made wishes all the time?

You made "wishes" over your birthday cake.  On coins you tossed in a fountain.  You "wished" on the twinkling stars at night ... or the leftover turkey "wishbones" on Thanksgiving.

It seems as we age though, our "wishing" days become fewer and fewer ...

We become a bit jaded or hardened to the realities of life.  Beyond wishing someone a "Good Morning", our wishing occurs less frequently.  And sometimes disappears for days on end.

As adults, we begin to "wish" only for the big important stuff.  Like someone's return to good health.  Or that someone receives the promotion they want and deserve.  Our wishes are meted out, carefully ... judiciously ... frugally.

I admit, there are times I still wish for things.  In my personal life certainly.  But as a New Lenox - Chicagoland Mortgage Originator, I find myself wishing, for one thing, most frequently and above all else ...

Make it Happen .. Contact Me Now! It's that those people hoping to buy a home find the inspiration and motivation to ask questions.

That they pick-up the phone.  Write that text or email. Stop by my office.  That they inquire in some manner convenient and comfortable to them as to the opportunities and options they might have available to buy the home they dream of.

Why is that my wish?

Too many people are assuming they know the answer(s) to their financing question(s) before they even ask them.  They are making decisions based on incorrect information ... incomplete info and facts ... or hearsay.  They shouldn't.

Over the last few years, mortgage financing (and mortgage underwriting) has become increasingly based on an individual's personal financial scenario.  Based on data, numbers, background, and facts that are shared with no other person.

No one can assume because their situation sounds somewhat similar to another person's, that they will reach the same outcome when it comes time to apply for a mortgage ...

So my wish remains the same ...

That if you truly want to buy a home, that you take action.  That you seek your own personal and individual truth and set of facts.  At least, have that conversation.  Gain the facts.

Until you do, you won't know if you can purchase a home now.  You won't gain the insight or myriad of advantages that can come from that conversation.  And should home buying not be possible now, you won't have the information you need to begin down the path to home buying in the future.
