How Much Do You REALLY Love That Home?

How Much Do You REALLY Love That Home?

A statement I often hear from my new mortgage clients is ...

"I found a house!  I just love it!"

I think that's exactly what you should hear from clients searching for a home.  A home that will house their life ... and probably represents the single-most expensive expenditure they've made in their lives.  And as their Loan Officer, it's certainly something I want them to feel and experience.

But I also know moving forward, that the intense emotional connection they have towards the home they love and want typically serves as a positive motivating factor during their mortgage process.  Clients "in love" with the home they want to buy are simply much more eager and willing to respond to my requests.  They take action more quickly to facilitate their financing.

Unfortunately, however, I sometimes find some clients show a big disconnect between the "love" they feel for the home they want ... and the eagerness and willingness they display towards taking part in their mortgage process.

And at that point, I'm left wondering ... "How much do you REALLY want that house?"

You see, it's my opinion that once you enter your mortgage process, it's no longer enough to just love a house and the features it offers.  You have to want it enough to make a productive effort.

That home you love?  It must provide you constant and consistent motivation.  It must serve as your carrot.

As an active mortgage applicant, you must do whatever is required ... when it's required ... to reach Closing, your successful goal, and outcome.  In other words, you must make a real commitment.

Committed to Buying a Home? Contact Me!

That commitment must include a willingness to:
  • Work to reach your goal
  • Be Available
  • Listen and Learn

  • Set-aside or Save money

Clients that enter their mortgage process with this positive "will do" mindset find the process flows more easily and quickly for them.  And their Mortgage Closing ... the culmination of their efforts ... is a far more satisfying and rewarding celebration.

Found the home you want to buy?  LOVE it?

Then you must prove it.  Be a committed mortgage applicant and home buyer and you will enjoy the home you love sooner ...
