     One of the Midwest's most enduring and long-running festivals is being held once again this year in the beautiful historic Village of Frankfort, IL ...

     The annual Frankfort Fall Festival, Carnival and Parade is slated to be held:

     Labor Day holiday weekend, August 31st through September 5th, 2016 in the historic Village of Frankfort, IL. 

     This year's Festival theme is "Happy Days". 

     This Fest, a perennial favorite ranked as one of the top 12 U.S. Festivals, hosts over 300,000+ visitors each year.  This year's Fest offers its attendees:  (More detailed info available at Frankfort Fall Fest

  • Juried show of 300 Artisans 
      Craft Show Hours:
      Saturday, September 3, 2016 – 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
         Sunday, September 4, 2016 – 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
         Monday, September 5, 2016 – 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m
  • Free Entertainment on Breidert Green  
  • Beer and Entertainment Tent 
      Admission Charged:
       Friday Night: $6.00
         Saturday thru Sunday: Noon to 6 pm = $2.00 (before Noon FREE)
         Saturday thru Sunday:  6 pm until closing = $6.00 
         Monday at Noon:  $2.00 (before Noon FREE)
         Children under 12 FREE (until 6 pm)
         No One under 21 will be Allowed in Entertainment Tent after 6 pm

  • Food Vendors and Food Court
  • Parade - 1:00 pm Sunday 
  • Free Shuttle Service for Visitors  
     Bus Service to the Festival area with drop-off and pickup in the Prairie Park Lot located @ White Street and Elwood Street
         Shuttle Bus Service runs continuously on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 8pm and Monday from 9 am to 6 pm

  • Handicap Parking Lot 
      Handicap Parking (appropriate permit must be displayed):   
       Parking is available in 1 location, the Trolley Barn Parking Lot which is located at Nebraska Street & Center Road.  There is a $10.00 fee to Operation Playground

  • Car Club Show 
  • Bike Corral (Downtown Frankfort - Old Plank Trail near White Street)
      Bikes: $2.00

  • 2 Rest Tents

These days, companies are under pressure to go "green" and become more environmentally friendly.  As a result, an increasing number of businesses are offering their customers a paperless option with which to receive and pay their bills. 

There are obviously many positives to be found within these paperless services:

But I can tell you from my vantage point as a Chicagoland/IL/WI Mortgage Originator, there are also negatives to be found within paperless methods.  For some of my mortgage clients, the choice of going "paperless" just hasn't worked well.

 For some, an email or text reminder regarding payment of bills has not been enough. They NEED a paper billing to arrive in their mail.
