Rent or Buy in Chicago or Chicagoland?
Discover Your Options

It's no secret.  The cost of renting has risen all across the U.S. ...
http://www.genemundt.com
A 2018 article on Digg, reported the following regarding the cost of renting nationwide ... and in Chicago/the Chicagoland area:

"Renting an apartment might give you flexibility, but in most states in the US, renting is actually more expensive than owning a home."

Another article on RentCafe' reported the following statistics and info:

"The average rent for an apartment in Chicago is $1,893, a 5% increase compared to the previous year when the average rent was $1,795."

This jump in rental costs is proving worrisome, but motivational to many area Chicago/Chicagoland renters seeking payment relief.  The calls I receive are increasingly from those in this scenario.

Many of those inquiring are finding that a monthly mortgage payment would be less costly than their current or future monthly rent.  Plus buying a home with a monthly mortgage payment would make more financial sense for them moving forward.

     So my questions are:

Are YOU presently renting?  Are YOU facing the prospect of an increase in your monthly rent soon?

If so, here's some facts and actions to consider:

So, at zero cost to do so, why continue to wonder what if? Why not know what is possible?  Seize the opportunity.  Ask questions!
